Description
Easy Digital Downloads Recommended Products Addon allows you to cross-sell recommended products with just a few check boxes when viewing downloads or the checkout screen. These are not “related products” but specially selected products based on previous sales in your store. Each night the recommendations are updated to reflect the day’s sales. You can also run the update script manually from the Easy Digital Downloads Extensions settings page.

Fully Template Ready – Don’t you like the built-in templates? That’s fine, put your template in the edd_templates folder of your theme and you can design your own recommendations pod.
Integrated with Easy Digital Downloads settings – no need to learn new settings pages. Just use the settings page and click the “Extensions” tab.
Imports Existing Sales – If you’ve been using Easy Digital Downloads for a while, that’s no problem. Once activated, Recommended Products will review your previous sales and determine the recommendations.
Restrict to Paid Items Only – If you have free products, you can remove them from the Recommendations pod in Settings.
Custom Features – Provide the referral feature with a user ID and products that the user has already purchased will be removed from the referrals.
Cart integration – If a user already has a product in the cart, it will be removed from the recommendations.
Detailed Logging – Any item purchased through a referral can be viewed in the Easy Digital Downloads reporting area. Filter by source and item purchased to see how well your recommendations convert.
